Week of April 8-12

This week will be focused on shaping a working rough draft for the Definition Essay and then starting chapter 1 of The Great Gatsby.

Schedule:

Monday: Final presentations of project, go over rough draft checklist, start writing
Tuesday: 2 paragraphs of essay due; finish rough drafts
Wednesday: Definition Essay Rough Draft DUE; Check out The Great Gatsy, read chapter one and write notes on characters
Thursday: Gatsby background information, discuss characters, complete study guide
Friday: Chapter 1 study guide due at end of hour, 20 Minutes Reading

Week of 1 April to 5 April

This week we will be finishing career research and starting prewriting for our final essay: The Definition Essay.

Monday: Last Day in Lab: Finish PowerPoints
Tuesday: Present
Wednesday: Present
Thursday: Notes for Essay; Prewriting
Friday: 20 Minutes Reading; Intro with Thesis due by end of hour

Career Projects Due Tuesday 4/2: Present to Class
