Tuesday October 1st: Introduction to essay, read articles and choose topic

Wednesday 2nd: Prewriting and Rough Draft
Homework:  Finish rough draft

Thursday 3rd: Type in lab

Friday 4th: Active reading day: bring books [last reading day!]
Reminders: Book project due October 9th by midnight to turnitin.com (rubric below)
                  Final draft of Crucible essay due October 14th
                  Crucible test on Wednesday October 9th

Monday 16th: Receive Close Read #5 and discuss Socratic Seminar, finish reading Act II and study guide

Tuesday 17th: Discuss Act II, watch movie

Wednesday 18th: Start reading Act III
Homework:  poetry annotations due Thursday

Thursday 19th: Socratic seminar over poems
Homework:  one-page response to poems and seminar due Friday

Friday 20th: Close Read #5 Due, Active reading day: bring books
Reminder: Books should be finished by October 7th so that you have time to complete your project.
